Club Day

Once a month, we have an hour set aside where our students can participate in various clubs led by our teachers. We have something for all our students to enjoy. Clubs include: running, crafts, volleyball, STEM, art, board and card games, music and choir, movies, crochet, yoga, flag football, and wiffle ball.

Warrior Leadership Team

This is our Warrior Lead Team for the 24-25 school year as voted upon by the students. We are thankful to Mrs. Wheeler and Mrs. A. Guthrie for leading this group!

Volleyball

We are very proud of our 8th grade Volleyball Team in how they carried themselves and represented our school this entire season! They worked very hard and showed a great deal of resilience throughout the season. They came up short in the county championship game to a very strong GH squad, but finished the season with a very impressive 42-4 record in winning several tournaments. Thank you to Coach Bryson for all of her hard work and dedication in leading this group of girls! We look forward to seeing what this group accomplishes in the future!

Our 7th grade volleyball team concluded their season after beating Florence. These girls showed a lot of improvement since the beginning of the season. They had an outstanding season in finishing 34-5 and winning several tournaments! We look forward to seeing what they accomplish next year. We are thankful to our 7th grade coaches, Ms. Ryleigh Jones and Mrs. Regina Jones, for doing a great job with these girls!

Homecoming Week

WPM had Homecoming Week from 9/24 to 9/30. Mrs. Oldacre and the WPM cheerleaders planned out a great week with fun events for students! Tuesday was Construction Zone, Wednesday was Teacher/Student Swap, Thursday was Camo Day with a rubber duck hunt, Friday was Holiday with a faculty vs student volleyball game, and Monday was Maroon and White Day with a pep rally! For the entire week, we had trivia questions and a word puzzle for students to solve.

The faculty team won against the 8th grade boys, but they came up short against the 7th grade girls.

Homecoming Court and Game

The Warriors faced the Hayden Wildcats in the Homecoming Game. Our guys came up just one score short against Hayden for our Homecoming game, but we are proud of the effort.

During halftime, our Homecoming Queen and Princess were crowned. Our Homecoming Court included: Hayden Adcock, Brooklyn Hilburn, Isabella Stephens, Roxie Graveman, Krimson Mumford, Kenzly Williams, Elizabeth Covarrubias, Harper Kimbril, Bai McSwain, and Kenadi Pagan. Our 2024 Homecoming Princess was Roxie Graveman, and our 2024 Homecoming Queen was Elizabeth Covarrubias. Crowning this year's winners was our 2023 Homecoming Queen, Cara-Grace Ashley.
