Great Start for 2nd Semester! |
Students are off to a great start for this second semester of school! Great things are happening at our school every day! |

Our 8th grade history teacher and head high school baseball coach, Tyler Morgan, brings both energy and heart to our school community. A survivor of a scorpion sting and a former used car salesman, Coach Morgan has always embraced life’s challenges with humor—earning the titles of Class Clown and Class Favorite back in 2012. In 2006, he was recognized as Citizen of the Year for a heroic act that saved a family member’s life. Often compared to Dr. Boyd, Coach Morgan combines a love of history with a knack for inspiring students on and off the field. Oftentimes, he has been referred to as the "glue" of the school.

8th grade boys are MIDDLE SCHOOL COUNTY CHAMPIONS after defeating Good Hope 54-41 in the championship! We are super proud of every player and Coach Tyler White, along with Asst. Coach John Looney! This group finished the season with a school record 20 wins, finishing at 20-3 after a very tough schedule as they played some of the best teams in north Alabama this year. This group was fun to watch and we cannot wait to see what they accomplish in the future!
